Professional Objective

Creative Development and Support

Elizabeth’s goal is to work as a creative team member in an environment in which she can use her creative ideas, broad experience and growing knowledge. Additionally, she wants to continue to expand her skills to support her team and/or client to the best of her abilities.

She is fortunate to have chosen a career path that she continues to enjoy as it evolves within all mediums of advertising and graphic design.

Educational Experience/Immersion

Elizabeth attended Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Arts and Design. She has continued to immerse herself in the art world through participation in various advertising and design organizations and continuing education through fine art classes at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts’ Studio School and abroad.

Career Focus

During her productive and rewarding career in advertising, Elizabeth has brought her talents to a vast array of projects for many different clients. Her most extensive and valuable work has been in the fields of senior living, healthcare, real estate and economic development. The tools and problem-solving skills she has developed can be applied well beyond those industries.

Senior Living. In recent decades “nursing homes” have evolved into desirable vibrant, active, -involving and enriching environments for seniors. Elizabeth has played a role in this, creating strategies and advertising solutions for well over 100 retirement communities across the U.S.

Healthcare. Many of the senior living communities have a full continuum of healthcare — offering not only independent living, but rehabilitation, assisted living, skilled care, and memory care. In addition to being a part of the overall marketing, these entities are often marketed as stand-alone products targeting a different audience. Elizabeth’s knowledge base of these care options offers an expertise few have.

Residential Real Estate. Today’s most successful communities are planned around a unique selling point. Elizabeth and her collaborators have brought to life many communities — from prime coastal locations to live-work-play neighborhoods, elite golf courses, and a community of one-of-a-kind architecture. In fact, helping to find the “one thing” — and then creating the brand and campaign that helps make developers’ dreams a reality — is exactly what makes advertising so satisfying to Elizabeth.

Economic Development. Bringing businesses to the Commonwealth of Virginia is how the state prospers and grows. Competing against other states or specific regions within Virginia requires creativity from both a financial perspective as well as a marketing perspective. Elizabeth has been instrumental in creating brands that have attracted businesses that were looking to relocate or expand their territory.
